About the Job
NY NeuroCare Medical Services is led by Dr. Florence Shum, DO, FAAN, a triple board-certified neurologist and Castle Connolly Top Doctor. As our practice grows across two boroughs, we're looking for an EEG or Clinical Neurophysiologist to support our epilepsy patients.

What you'll do:
  • Diagnose and manage epilepsy and seizure disorders in adults (and pediatrics from age 12 and older, if applicable).
  • Interpret routine and ambulatory EEGs.
  • Evaluate drug-resistant epilepsy and coordinate referrals for advanced workup and surgical evaluation.
  • Manage antiseizure medications, including complex regimens.
  • Serve as a resource to the clinical team on seizure-related cases.

What you bring:
  • MD or DO.
  • New York medical license (or eligible to obtain).
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in neurology.
  • Fellowship training in epilepsy and/or clinical neurophysiology.
  • ABPN certification in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology preferred.
  • Bonus: Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish fluency.
